Oparau Roadhouse...

We've been regular customers of Brenda and Bill for over twenty years. Somewhere on their website is a photo of a very large fish we showed off when we called in to stock up on Brenda's simply awesome pies on our way home from fishing over the bar. Its over a year since we parked over. We enjoyed a ...

They don't see strangers as being part of their 'tribe', so its not like they're stealing from 'real people'. They hunt around t...

Re: Generator, 24V vehicle or separate 12V Alternator

Hiya Myles, Ditch the generator and get more solar. :TU We have a Bus. Started with 80w solar 10 years ago, doubled that about six years ago and now for the past nine months we have be drowning in the extra juice that our total solar of 300w produces. We have a small but greedy 12 v fridge, usual li...

Re: Yearly costs of owning/running a ~7m bus motorhome

myles...how long is a piece of string???? Bad time for us asking this question as we've just been hit for a reconditioned clutch and two new tyres...painful on the pocket, but we tend not to waste our $$$ on booze in order to cope with the inane happy hour chatter, so we just managed to swing it. ;)...

Re: Clutch Problem, or brakes???

Sorted. :D New mechanic took apart the driver's side dash and inspected the booster cylinder and re-connected the vacuum hose. Most importantly, a new and longer rod from the slave cylinder was made as the old one was barely doing its thing. Potentially a footplant away from clutch failure. And OMG!...
